Anatomy for Children: The Figure in Action! Ages 10 and up.

This anatomy class is tailored to children ages 10 -14. Students will study the human form and the different parts of the human body as they relate to a particular figure. Each week the students will create and color drawings of fireman, sports figures (and others) and will compare it to the action figure hero and heroine. Each class may begin with a 20 minutes anatomy lesson. Emphasis will be placed on artistic anatomy, gesture, proportions, form and shape. The students will be encouraged to create their own figure in action towards the end of Session.
